Proposed Amphitheater Has Canal Conundrum

At issue is the ability to preserve the archeological integrity of the historic Kanawha Canal — envisioned by George Washington in the 1780s — and maintain the possibility of restoring the canal as a waterway — as a recreational area and maybe even a transportation option.  Link
